Named after Dr. John Taylor, who owned the Huffman House during the Civil War, The Taylor Room is very spacious with a king bed and a daybed with trundle. Families or groups of four enjoy relaxing here on farm stays after a tour, which includes collecting the eggs. The property was originally an agricultural complex with three historic buildings.
An inviting alternative to Virginia Tech hotel lodging, The Taylor Room includes a private bath, Eco-friendly, micro-fiber Comphy Sheets' and 100% cotton towels, embroidered waffle-weave robes, hair dryer, radio, our special ‘Bayberry’ soap, and ‘Rosemary, Cedar, and Thyme’ shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, as well as Wi-Fi.
Enjoy a full breakfast consisting of a hot entrée, muffins, scones, homemade granola, homemade bread and jams, farm fresh eggs, and coffee or tea. There is also a guest refrigerator stocked with water and beverages. |
