DEPOSITS:  A deposit of one night’s stay plus tax will be taken when you make your reservation.

CHECK – IN :  Check-in is between 3PM and 6PM.  The balance due for your stay will be processed at check-in.  If you need a later check in time please call us.

CHECK – OUT :  Check-out is at 11AM.

CANCELLATIONS:  Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to your reservation date for a full refund.  If you cancel within two weeks of your reservation, we will refund your money less a $25 processing fee.  EXCEPTIONS: Special weekends(Tech Graduation, Tech Football) - On these weekends you must cancel one month in advance for a full refund. No refunds will be given after this date.

SPECIAL WEEKENDS:  There will be a 2 night minimum stay for special weekends such as Virginia Tech Graduation and  Football Games.

CHILDREN:  We welcome children over 10 years of age.

PETS:  We cannot accommodate pets, but you are welcome to enjoy our two dogs, Maggie & Shep out on the farm.

SMOKING:  We are a smoke free facility.  Smoking is not permitted in the house or on the front porch.  If there is any evidence of smoking, or the lighting of candles or matches in your room, you will be charged an additional night’s stay for cleaning purposes.  The pergola, by the creek, may be used for smoking. Because of the historic nature of our home, we are under strict fire code regulations.

DRUGS:  Any use of illegal drugs in the house or on the surrounding property will result in you being asked to leave immediately.

ALCOHOL:  We do not have a license to serve alcohol, wine or beer, but you may bring your own.

TOWELS AND SHEETS:  To conserve energy:

      1) Towels will be changed after the 2nd day of your stay.  (If you prefer to have your towels changed daily, please leave them on the floor.)

      2) Sheets will be changed after the 3rd day of your stay.

EATING IN ROOMS:  There will be no eating in the bedrooms.  Please feel free to use the dining room or the sun porch.

OUR PETS: We have 2 dogs on the premises outdoors. Maggie is our Border Collie and Shep is our Great Pyrenees.  Both are friendly, but please use caution around them.  We would love to take you to see the sheep, cows, horses and llamas.    

PLEASE DO NOT GO INTO THE PASTURES ON YOUR OWN!!!!!
